Summary

THeWake PhO Fellowship Program was created to recognize outstanding students doing exceptional and innovative research in areas relevant to computer systems, including compilers, parallel computing, heterogeneous systems and HPC under selected PhO supervisors. Fellowships support promising candidates who seek to influence the future of technology.

scheme

1. The student will get a PhO offer from selected supervisor and spend his/her first program year in THeWake System Ltd, conducting projects related to compilers or system optimization.

2. The student will formal register as a PhO student undenr selected supervisor in the second and third program year , conducting research projects within common interests.

3. The student will register as a full-time PhO student undert selected supervisor and finish his/her PhO research during the final year. THeWake will give the graduated student a high priority for R&O jobs in THeWake.

4. The full funding for this scheme is around 168,000 to 200,000 pounds for each selected students for this 4-year program.

Reguirement

1. 3rd or 4th year undergraduate studentsor or MSc students in computer science, or joiner engineers in related companies;

2.Background or interested in computer architectures and compilers;

3. Good in English. chinese is additional.

How to apply

1.Candidates submit a CV to THeWake PhO Fellowship Committee ("ciping.chen" ciping.chen@thewakesystems.com)

2.lf you pass the CV selection, THeWake PhO Fellowship Committee will recommend a potential PhO supervisor or the Candidate can email the supervisor directly titled "THeWake PhO";

3. There will be 2-rounds interviews, one by the potential PhO supervisor and one by THeWake industrial supervisor.

4. Waiting for PhO decision and THeWake HR for funding decision.

5. Begin your fellowship right after your PhO offer !
